Sustainable Truth? Movie Screening Series

Back by popular demand Hållbart Universitet is proud to present the next round of the ‘Sustainable Truth?‘ movie series. In cooperation with the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, the Center for Environmental and Climate Research at Lund University, Studiefrämjandet, Folkuniversitetet and Smålands Nation’s Environmental Committee, we will show several movies during the spring semester of 2013. Sustainable fika will be provided. Movies are shown at the end of every month on Tuesdays at 18.30 in Ekologihuset, Sölvegatan 37, restarting on January 29th. Planning for additional screenings in between these dates is also underway, so check our facebook page for updates!

With this project we seek to provide the public with more information on the different sustainability challenges our society faces. To strengthen the experience of each screening we invite speakers who are experts in their respective fields to comment on the movies, to answer questions and to engage the audience by leading an open discussion. By doing so we want to allow people to reflect and to be more critical towards the information reaching them.

All movies and discussions will be in English. They are open for everyone and are free of charge, so come and join us for the following movie screenings:

  • January 29th – Darwin’s Nightmare (2004)
  • with Vasna Ramasar and Viktor Eckert
