HÃ¥llbart Universitet (HU) is Lund University’s environmental student organization

Since 1995 HU has been engaged in environmental and sustainability projects in Lund. We work by the motto
"think global, act local" and have both local and international issues on our agenda. With our diverse backgrounds
and knowledge we form an interdisciplinary and international organization that seeks to make Lund a greener city!

Check out our projects and/or join one of our general meetings that take place every other Monday at 17:15
in the LUS Conference Room, 4th floor in the AF Castle to get an overview of what we are doing.

We are also members of the Swedish Ecodemics, Sweden's largest network of environmental organizations
at universities and colleges.

Ett Grönare Lund – Autumn’s First Green Talk

April Sabucco will share her experiences with starting her own urban gardening project in California, USA.

What started off as a summer intern’s proposal for the municipality of Long Beach, developed over the months and became a unique space right in the center of Long Beach.

Let’s all enjoy some fair trade, organic fika and learn more about urban gardening as an approach to connecting people and their food with the city. And as always within the GREEN TALK tradition, there is also room for questions, discussion and sharing of ideas!

The event will be for free and earnings from the fika will go to support ABC’s international work. So join us on Wednesday, November 14th at 18:30 at the Social Science Student Union, Paradisgatan 5S.
