The movie “Home” had a global release on June 5 2009 – World Environment Day. The movie includes images from 54 countries, all taken from the air, and tries to explain to us humans that the way we treat our planet is unsustainable and that the effects disregard borders, nationalities and religions. Director Yann Arthus-Bertrand and producer Luc Besson have created one of the most amazingly beautiful documentaries – that is available to watch for free!
Hållbart Universitet has a work group who’s aim is to make “Home” available to as many people as possible. If you are interested in watching it, can provide a venue for showing it, or want to invite your friends, family and class mates to see it with you – contact us and we’ll help you out!
The newly started magazine Heroes of Today is a great complement to the movie and contains 84 pages of inspirational sunshine stories of young people around the world who try to make change happen and succeeds. It costs 39 SEK per copy and can be ordered here.
Let’s all take the best care of our one and only home!
